Before you file a complaint
Please check three points.
- You own the copyright or you are allowed to act for the owner.
- You can point to the exact page on our site that uses the work. Copy the full URL from your browser.
- The use is not covered by an exception such as fair use, quotation for review, news reporting, or a license you gave earlier.
If you are unsure, ask a professional first. False claims can cause problems for everyone.
How to send a takedown notice
Your notice must include all items below. Use the labels so nothing is missed.
- Your details: full name, organization if any, postal address, email, and phone number.
- The work: a clear description of the copyrighted work. If several works are involved, a representative list is fine.
- Location on our site: the full URL or URLs where the material appears. Screenshots help, but the URL is essential.
- Good faith statement: you believe the use is not authorized by the owner, the owner’s agent, or the law.
- Accuracy and authority statement: the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
- Signature: physical or electronic. Typing your full legal name in the email counts as an electronic signature.
Send the notice to editor@zufloo.com and hello@zufloo.com. We will confirm we received it.
What happens next
We review your notice. If it contains all required parts, we may remove or block the material. We notify the person who posted it and we keep a record of the action. If something is missing, we will tell you what to add.
Counter notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter notice. Include the items below.
- Your details: full name, postal address, email, and phone number.
- What was removed: identify the material and the exact URL where it appeared before removal.
- Statement under penalty of perjury: you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
- Jurisdiction statement: you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district where you live, or if you live outside the United States, to any district where we may be found, and you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
- Signature: physical or electronic. Typing your full legal name is acceptable.

Restoring material
When we receive a valid counter notice, we forward it to the original complainant. If we are not told within the legal window that a court action has been filed, we may restore the material after the waiting period ends.
Repeat infringement
We may limit or end access for users who repeatedly infringe copyrights. In clear cases, a single serious incident can lead to removal.
Misuse of this process
Please do not send notices or counter notices that you know are false. The law allows damages and fees for misrepresentation. If you are unsure, get advice before you file.
